Battle for Andromeda

It is the year 3405, humanity has achieved its way to the Andromeda galaxy in search of other planets to inhabit.Unfortunately, it was invaded by the Xerkai, a technologically advanced species whose goal is to take this and all nearby
galaxies to consume them. Fortunately for humans, they find themselves in the middle of a civil war: On the one hand the Xertac, fanatics of technology and metal; and on the other the Xermal, whose beliefs are oriented towards the old customs of the species, centered on its carnal form. Now, everything is up to you, the best general of humanity, to take advantage of this weakness in the enemy forces to destroy them and put an end once and for all to the Xerkian invasion.

Controls: 

AWSD or Arrow Keys to move.

Space Bar to shoot. (No automatic shooting).

3 Power Ups to pick: Damage Up, Speed Up, and Shield. (On start or respawn, you enter with a shield active).

Hi there! I'm Tragedy Boy, and this is my first game ever! I did it for for the PixiJs course "Oficios de la Economía del Conocimiento: Desarrollo de Videojuegos", organized by the amazing people of The Rabbit Hole. Please note this was made for practice and learning, thus it's not a full or polish game. It was made in TypeScript using the PixiJs library. Hope you enjoy it!
